Allée was founded by Melissa Harrison, CEO and principal, in 2006. Our team consists of professionals with a wealth of knowledge in content marketing, branding, social media and marketing strategy. Our job is to make your job easier. We treat our clients like family and are transparent in everything we do.
Melissa Harrison, Founder and CEO
Named a 2012 “Mover & Shaker” by the Star Tribune, Melissa has more than a decade of experience in content management and strategy, branding and design, working with SMBs to build strategic social media and online content strategies. Listed as one of the “Top 36 Content Marketers Who Rock” by TopRank and Content Marketing Institute, Melissa believes that businesses must adapt to what customers want, which includes using social media and creative online content to provide relevant, consistent information, in order to survive. Melissa is also a four-time recipient of the Hermes Creative Award and a regular speaker on the topics of branding, content strategy and social media. Melissa is also certified by Google Analytics Academy in Digital Analytics Fundamentals.

Shannon Neeser, Content Specialist
Shannon serves on the Board of Minnesota Women in Marketing & Communication as the social media chair and is an avid volunteer for nonprofits in the community. Shannon has an English liberal arts degree from UW River Falls where she also served as contributor and co-editor of the undergraduate literary magazine, “Prologue.” Shannon also has a minor in creative writing and a Business Writing Certificate from the University of Minnesota’s College of Continuing Education. Alyx Grabinger, Content Specialist
Alyx is a communication and journalism student at the University of St. Thomas. She has experience in content and project management. Alyx has a passion for social media, PR and would never turn down an opportunity to research a new topic. Follow her on Twitter.
Ashley Steiner, Content Specialist
Ashley is an advertising professional with experience in account management, strategic planning, social media and creative branding. Her biggest passions are writing, social media, anything Jane Austen, the color turquoise, and chai lattes. Ashley is currently contracting at Thomson Reuters and can be seen frequenting Target, book shops and bike trails. Kris Adkins, Digital Analytics Intern
Kris has years of experience leading teams and projects in marketing and customer service organizations. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from UW-Eau Claire, along with a minor in business communications. Kris has a strong interest in social media, networking, and writing. Kris is also certified by Google Analytics Academy in Digital Analytics Fundamentals.

We are currently looking for a marketing manager to join the Allée team. This is a paid, contract position with potential for W-2 status in 2014. In this position, the Allée marketing manager will work closely with the CEO to keep client projects/accounts on track. This position also serves as the marketing manager for internal marketing projects, working to develop sound business development strategies and tactics for Allée. The marketing manager will also be responsible for managing the content specialists and other Allée team members, working in conjunction with the CEO to provide leadership and growth directives for the company.
The following skills are required:
- A background in marketing strategy, content marketing and print/graphic design
- Comfortable working with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (to start, should have access to these programs on own computer)
- Comfortable working in a telecommute environment
- Great writing and editing skills
- Understanding and consistent use of social media channels
- Management skills (people and projects)
- Proactive communication skills – answering questions before they are even asked
- Highly organized
- Working knowledge of Dropbox and FreshBooks (can be trained)
- The ability to focus on details as well as overall goals and “big picture” of projects, client relationships and day-to-day decisions
- Problem solving skills; ability to ask the right questions to create clarity
- Ability to objectively make recommendations and present decision alternatives, negotiate effectively and influence project stakeholders
- Solid leadership skills
- Business development experience
- At least 2 years of project management and supervisory experience in the marketing field
