I have a lot to be thankful for this year and, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to give some well-deserved personal shout-outs to the amazing people who have supported my company this year. The following people have been instrumental in Allée’s growth and for that, I thank you!
Dave Yankowiak
The most amazing WordPress guy you’ll ever meet–hands down. He’s timely, organized and funny. What more can you ask for? Plus, he has good taste in music. Dave has supported our client projects and our own Web needs with a whole bunch of awesomeness this year. He’s one of a kind.
Maggie Sonnek
Though she’s no longer “officially” on the team, I still consider Maggie a great part of the success Allée enjoyed during 2012. Maggie’s thoughtfulness and cheerful personality was so much fun to be around. She’s eager to help, smart and willing to lend an ear. Thanks for joining us for the ride this year, Maggie. We miss you!
Shannon Neeser
As one of the first interns in our bunch, Shannon quickly grew to become a wonderful staff addition as our content specialist. She’s witty, quick with her writing and knows her way around a farm. You never know when all that might come in handy when dealing with the variety of content we produce each week. Shannon rocks!
Speaking of interns…
I’m pretty sure I have the best ones on the planet. To Kris Adkins, Ashley Steiner and Alyx Grabinger: You have been a super team to work with this year and I’m so excited to what next year will bring. Your zest for learning and uncanny ability to contribute to our team in countless ways does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. You’re fabulous!
Guest bloggers
Sometimes it’s hard enough to think of outstanding, creative content for our client’s blogs let alone our own! I am very appreciative of the quality posts we received from our awesome guest bloggers this year, including: Kimberlee Karr, Michael Blumfield, Brian Dufresne and Emma-Julie Fox. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Clients
We have had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful clients this year and are equally thankful for those we’ve continued to grow relationships with through each year that passes. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a special shout-out to Sarah Sladek and XYZ University. As a long-time business colleague, Sarah has moved from fellow Board member, to colleague to client. I respect the long-standing relationship we’ve built with Sarah and her company and can’t wait to see what next year brings!
My family
That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? I am grateful to my family–kids and husband–for their endless support and willingness to pick up the slack when I put in extra hours in the evening or on the weekends. Your support is amazing.
And to anyone who has attended a workshop, training, seminar or just sent an email along the way to say “hey”–I appreciate you as well! It is a gift to be able to come to work each day and love what I do; the people I work with and the supporters who I engage with throughout the week are all a part of what makes this happen.
Thank you!
Right back at you Melissa! Thank you for sharing your company with me – your experience, your ideas, and your love for what you do. I’ve learned so much from you and the Allée staff. It’s been a fun ride! Your success starts with you – may you continue to enjoy and share Allée with many more clients, business partners, and staff in the year to come!
Thanks, Kris!
Thanks for the props, Melissa! And to any potential Allée clients who read this: Melissa is one of the most organized, on-top-of-things people that I’ve ever worked with. She’s a fantastic communicator and every experience I’ve had partnering with her on projects has been positive. You’ll love working with her.
So kind, Dave. Thanks!
