Yep. Another update. But, like the reach update earlier this month, this one is beneficial. Facebook is currently rolling out a new look for Pages and it is more logical and user-friendly than the old one.
The following changes will be coming soon to your Facebook Page:
New feature: Pages to Watch
This addition is my personal favorite. As a part of the update, Facebook is adding a competitive analysis tool for all admins called “Pages to Watch.” This feature allows you to create a list of Pages similar to yours and compare your performance to theirs.
In the “Overview” tab of Page Insights you will see some key stats from the Pages you’re watching and the “Posts” tab will include the past week’s most engaging posts.
Timeline view
Instead of your posts taking up the whole screen, they will now only be seen on the right-hand side of your Page. On the left will be featured information about your business, including a map, your hours of business, phone number and website URL, as well as photos and videos. This view closely resembles how individual profiles are currently displayed.
Admin view
The admin changes are relatively minor compared to the rest of the update. You will now be able to view current ads, unread notifications and messages from any place on your Page. In addition, Facebook added new navigation options to the top of the Page, making it easier to access your activity, insights, ad account and settings.
