I absolutely love brewery tours, not so much for the beer but that’s a really great perk. What I love is the small business success stories. It usually starts with someone who loves beer and decides to start making it in a garage; they have a passion and are excited about their work. That passion and excitement is what makes working with (or touring/drinking with) small businesses so rewarding.
When I worked as a content specialist for Allee Creative, helping small businesses reach their marketing goals was one of my favorite parts of the job. Who wouldn’t want to be part of a success story? I did; Allee does.
For small businesses, keeping up with the latest social media platforms, content creation, while also delivering excellent services and products can be difficult, or impossible. Let’s face it, small business owners are usually doing jobs that corporations have three people doing, and there’s only so much time in a week. Hiring an outside marketing firm to help with content strategy and creation is a tool that Allee’s clients have the good sense to use.
When I first met Melissa, it was through the nonprofit I worked for who had hired her agency to help with marketing. I saw firsthand how much her services were needed to create a clear and consistent message for our audiences. Knowing first-hand the value of that work was what attracted me to it. I was excited to be her first intern and then first paid employee. I loved being a part of her small business success story while working to help ensure other businesses succeeded as well.
Content marketing may be time consuming, but it’s also an essential part of building a solid brand and reaching potential clients. It’s about creating value, adding content and establishing your company as a thought leader in the industry. Helping small businesses create and execute strategies to share their passion and expertise with the world is a pleasure for me and made working with Allee an amazing experience.
Allee has been in business now for 10 years; that’s not easy. Melissa’s understanding of the struggles and tools necessary to keep going is only one part of why small businesses will benefit from working with Allee.
I’d love to hear how Allee is part of your organization’s success story! Send me or Allee a tweet and use #AlleeTurns10 to be a part of the anniversary conversation this year! Cheers!
