Founder and CEO
Melissa Harrison founded Allee Creative at the age of 26 with the intention of providing full-scope services for associations, nonprofits and B2B clients who didn’t have the capacity to strategize and execute on their marketing needs. What started as a one-woman shop based heavily in traditional print content and marketing has grown to a full-team agency that supports clients internationally with a holistic approach to marketing.
Melissa brings two decades of experience in marketing strategy, content management, writing, design and business development to the Allee Creative team. As the founder of our agency, Melissa works with clients around the world to execute successful marketing strategies.
Her accolades include being named a Top 100 Content Marketer (Express Writers and Content Marketing Institute), a Top Young Entrepreneur (Minnesota Business Magazine) and a Mover & Shaker (Star Tribune). She is a four-time recipient of the Hermes Creative Award and an international speaker on content marketing, business strategy, nonprofit management and entrepreneurship. She was named one of 100 women to watch in the U.S. as part of The Inspirational Woman Project and is a graduate of the Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders program. Melissa was also inducted into the DeForest Area High School Alumni Hall of Fame for her outstanding achievements in the marketing industry.
Melissa has held leadership positions for a number of other boards in the Twin Cities area including MWMC (Minnesota Women in Marketing and Communications) and Neighborhood Connections. She lives in St. Michael with her husband and four children.
