As someone who comes from the traditional publishing world, before the onset of email marketing and social media, I’ve grown up in this industry relying heavily on production calendars and spreadsheets to track my every content move.
Content calendars are an essential part of your content process. If you think about content creation as having five phases (planning, creating, publishing, distributing and tracking) content calendars are your main tool to use during phase 1—planning.
